First Quarter Moon Phase

A confluence of events mix to form today’s energy.  First off, Venus stations direct.  This is powerful because Venus just had its historic transit of the Sun.  So all of the energy that Venus has “captured” from the Sun during its transit is released today.  The Sun is ”boosting” this in a sense because a massive coronal hole has opened up and turned towards Earth.  This solar wind will reach us on July 1, just as the Sun comes in to opposition with Pluto for the year.  You can expect major changes in relationships through the weekend (all types of relationships - personal, professional, casual, etc.)  The keyword for working with this aspect is disinvest. Withdraw your energy and let things play out as they will.  This isn’t actually as passive as it sounds.  We are standing up for ourselves by withdrawing our energy.  This act will change the course of events.  So don’t react, don’t feed, don’t consider anything.  Another event adding to to the mix is Jupiter’s alignment with the Nodes (conjunct the South Node and oppose the North Node).  This is a most blessed event and calls for simple celebrations of the spirit (finding beauty in nature, the goddess Sophia embodied as the Earth).  It is kind of like “Christmas on June 27″ instead of “Christmas in July,” hence today’s picture  Jupiter conjunct the South Node is closing out the past in a big way.  You can really release something that has been burdening you or stubbornly hanging around.  Nothing is too big to be removed by Jupiter so the sky is the limit with this.  Merry day!  (Special note to Aquarians: be careful of what you say today.  It will spread like wildfire and become more than you bargained for.  It is most important for you to disinvest and keep quiet today.)

Today brings potential for things to surprise us.  This in turn creates emotional reactions.  The energy is like a pressure cooker.  Venus will station direct tomorrow, putting relationships under stress.  Mercury moving into Leo has caused us to think about things (particularly relationships) in a new way.  We are looking at what is best for us, as opposed to what is best for others.  Things could change quite a bit today.  With Jupiter conjunct the South Node, situations from the past are coming into resolution.  The keyword for today is containment.

Crescent Moon Phase

If you have been following the Oracle Report for a while, you will remember that last winter we practiced the skill of taking ourselves out of the swirl of the world, going inside ourselves, and taking the stance of the observer.  Wise owls became proficient at going inside the hollow of a tree and peering out.  This skill is required today.  The mass collective (the matrix) is strong today and anyone who goes up against it will not fare well.  This is not the day for individualism in any form, such as arguing your cause, insisting that you be considered, or the like.  Guard against recklessness and be careful to consider the consequences of your actions today.  You want to pull yourself back as much as possible, especially with work.  Just take yourself out of the nonsense and keep to yourself.  Go inside yourself to the deep well within and just witness what is happening around you.  Do not engage.  This may be a little bit tough because Saturn (the ruler of all things related to discipline and order) stations direct today and will bring a “clamp down.”  The day that Saturn stations direct brings a sense of order to chaos but it can be too much for people who are sensitive and love freedom.  Mercury will move into Leo, which causes us to want our ideas to be recognized (and goes against the dominant energy today).  The Moon will make its monthly conjunction with Mars (which brings things that are bothering us to the surface).  If you are reading this late in the day and didn’t have the opportunity to take yourself out of the swirl, reflect back on the day’s events and see what you there is to learn.  We can outsmart this day.  Instead of seeing it as a drag, consider it a day to take a breather and regroup.  Take the focus off of the structure and order of Saturn and onto the beauty and love of Earth.

Disseminating Moon Phase

Today marks a turning point.  Change ripples through the collective, setting us on new ground and possibly producing an "alien" or "foreign" feeling.  Sometimes arriving on new ground causes anxiety.  Remember that the feeling is merely a reaction to the influx of a new standard.  Be prepared to embrace and adapt to the changes.  This is happening to bring us into closer resonance with people of like-mind and like-outlook, but it will also bring new people and opportunities into our lives.  These things ultimately bring us a sense of comfort and security, so we don't need to resist the changes because they are for the better.  We are lucky!  Let the world turn for you today.  Notice what and who is and who is not resonating with you.  It's ok to let things take their course and come to their natural end.  Looking back will only bring pain.  A lot of interpersonal communication is going to take place today.  People will be expressing their feelings and wanting others to understand them.  This will determine which relationships will grow and which will fall away.  In other words, relationships will sort.  Remember that it is a natural process.

Full Moon Phase – Venus Transits the Sun

There isn’t anything I can say about Venus’ transit of the Sun that I didn’t say Friday.  It’s worth repeating:

The Venus transit will effect the microcosm of our interpersonal relationships and values, and the macrocosm of humanity’s relationships and values in a specific way: the status quo is going to change. Major corrections are going to begin taking place. Gaia-Sophia, the Divine Being embodied as the Earth, is going to begin making “first contact” en masse. She is going to begin a process of directly contacting each member of humanity. In other words, she is going to make her presence known. The effects of this will progressively change life as we now know it. How do we know this? Because the Sabian symbol for the degree of the Venus transit is “a woman activist, in an emotional speech, dramatizing her cause.” Gaia-Sophia is fully awake after her plunge from her Source. She has seen her shadow side and has re-connected with her power. Now she is ready to take control. We are blessed with the Divine opportunity to not only witness, but also participate as co-creators. It\ is our job to help this “spectacular process” by aligning our consciousness with hers – through play, kindness, love, beauty, and creativity because these are the qualities of her personality. Strive for these things and the Venus transit will awaken you to a new experience of life.
