There is a brightness to today’s energy that goes well with starting new years.  If yesterday’s post did not make much sense, it may be clearer today.  The Sun delivered some much-needed love in the form of an M-2 class solar flare that created waves of ionic disturbance in the atmosphere (particularly concentrated over Europe).  A polar observatory in Norway stated it proved that they, even at that extreme longitude and latitude, still had contact with the Sun.  This is science catching up with common sense.  Of course they never lost contact with the Sun.  The light is always there, even when we can’t see or feel it very well.  Please forgive the obvious metaphor.  It has been very dark since the lunar eclipse on December 10.  Life has not been easy.  But it is time to put all of that away.  Just let it go or organize a space for it.  “Letting things go” doesn’t mean we necessarily cut it out.  It means we just put it in a better, more organized, more functional place.  We may even showcase it prominently.  In some way today, find your own bit of luxury.  This is the energy the Sun disseminated overnight.  How do I know?  I look at the degree of the Sun and read what the ancients told us about the nature of the Sun that day (called the Sabian symbols).  For this day it is “pheasants display their brilliant colors on a private estate.”  It is about enjoying life’s luxuries (on the negative side it is about the tendency for people to fear being overlooked, therefore trying to stand out from the crowd in an unbecoming way).  Really all we need to do is make something more beautiful today with gentleness and remember the lesson that we are always connected to our Source.
